Owner - Ted has been the owner of Spechts Pets and Safari Pets and Aquatics for almost a decade.  Ted isn’t often seen on the store floor but is always behind the scenes keeping things running smoothly and making sure we have the best products available.

Store Manager - Japarto brings a wealth of experience to our store from a lifetimes worth of fish and animal experience. Specializing in Saltwater fish and corals Japarto can be found elbow deep in our many aquariums. As always Japarto is the “go to” guy for Salt and Freshwater information.

Service Representative - Heather has a broad range of experience and interests ranging from freshwater fish, small animals and many different reptiles. Heather has been part of the Safari team for over a year and has been part of the industry for many more.

Service Representative - Lance is one of our hard working weekend warriors. Even as a full time student Lance still manages to squeeze in a few days a week to help us out with his tremendous range of experience in Birds, Reptiles, Small Animals, and Fish.

Service Representative - Mila is another one of our staff with a broad range of interests. Her experience with Small Animal breeding, reptile breeding, freshwater fish and much more has helped us expand several areas in both stores. Mila is most often found at Spechts, but is another Safari weekender.

Service Representative - Christina is a recent addition to our team, but in that short period she has helped us bolster our small animal section. Christina has a real affection for small animals (rabbits in particular!) but has experience with many other areas as well.

Service Representative - Brittany is another well rounded staff member with plenty of experience with predatory fish, reptiles and saltwater. Although she works primarily at Spechts she can be found in Safari periodically.
