“Smokey” the chinchilla has been with us a while now and needs a home. This little girl is exceptionally friendly and will readily take treats right from your fingers. Smokey will make a lovely pet but people have been reluctant to take her as she’s a full grown adult (3 years old).

We are offering her to a loving home at %50 off with the purchase of a suitable cage (such as our Chinchilla starter kit).

This adorable baby conure has just come in and is already proving to be quite a ham. While still young and clumsy it has already started to understand a few basic commands. Our staff are spending several hours a day training this bird and it should make a truly loving pet.

Conures make very loyal companions, but with a lifespan averaging 10+ years you need to be prepared for a long term commitment. Come on in and meet this little sweety, you can probably find him/her on one of our shoulders.

We have a lovely rabbit who is desperately looking for a home. “Bunzo” the rabbit has been with us since he was very young and has become very friendly.  He is full size at this point and needs to find a loving home where he can get the love and attention he deserves.

Most people shy away from him because he isn’t a tiny baby bunny any more, but with his calm and gentle personality he is sure to win you over with even a few minutes of one on one time.

This weeks “Animal of the week” is “Scrufflebutt” or “Scruffle” for short.  Scruffle has been with us for 5 months and has had quite an ordeal.  As a young hamster she recieved a rather nasty bite wound from one of her siblings.  This wound required a tremendous amount of intervention from staff to keep it healing properly and to keep her healthy.  She recovered beatifully without any visible scar and has been living the good life in her own cage for quite some time now.

The end result of all this time and effort is a wonderfull hamster.  Shes healthy, extremely social and easy to play with (shes gotten so used to people handling her from her treatment that she has become very peaceful).  Scruffle will make an incredible pet for anyone, but people often shy away from her because she “isn’t a baby”.  At 5 months old, and after having a higher protein diet during her recovery she has grown to be a robust size!

Well last night marked one of the stores largest coral shipments ever, with 20 boxes making it through the door! There are some spectacular open brains in this shipment, along with some really nice Zooanthids and a whole selection of LPS coral. Definately worth taking a look, we have had to stuff every saltwater tank full of coral just to house it all!
